Amongst over 500 members, there are 15 Board of Directors along with a salaried Secretary.
Below are our President, Vice President and Board of Directors working together to keep the Society fuelled and proceed on the path of success.

President

SBI Housing Secretary Mr. Ranjith Thankappan

Mr. Subash Chengappa

Co-founder of Dina Suddhi, a digital news app and Vijaya Taranga publication, a regional daily.

Mr. Subash, the CEO and President of SBI Smart Bangalore Infrastructure, is a dynamic individual whose journey reflects exceptional service and leadership. A former Indian Army officer, he served with distinction during the PoK conflict of 1996-97 and in some of the country’s most challenging terrains, including Nagaland, Leh-Ladakh, Kargil, and the Siachen Glacier. Retiring in 1998, he brought the same dedication and discipline to the corporate world, joining Bharti Airtel in Bangalore, where he led operations across Karnataka. His responsibilities included managing retail, networking, technical, and customer service operations, as well as regulatory compliance, which established him as a versatile leader with an eye for operational excellence.
Following his corporate stint, Mr. Subash turned his focus toward organic farming, fulfilling a personal passion with plantations in Coorg. His connection to sustainable practices and community-oriented projects laid the foundation for his involvement with Kaig Nirman. As a visionary leader, he combines his military discipline, corporate expertise, and passion for sustainability to guide transformative projects that encourage innovation with purposeful living.

Vice President

Mrs. Yogitha K M

Founder Member and Trustee of Live and Love Foundation, a trust focusing on children's welfare, old age homes, animal shelters, afforestation and reforestation and clean India initiatives. She is also into content and consultancy for aesthetic and interior designs.

With an expansive experience of close to two decades including the fields of Information Outsourcing and Enterprise Service at some capacious and renowned IT organisations like GE and HP, she embarks to deploy her expertise and best practices to learn, engage, develop, manage and lead the organisation towards it's vision and values.

Mr. Somaiah TP

Managing Director, Marketing & Communication

Somaiah is a seasoned professional with a rich background in marketing and commerce, holding an MBA in Marketing alongside a Bachelor’s in Commerce. His journey began in advertising, where he gained invaluable experience managing corporate events and trade fairs. He later took on the role of Director at 3G Expovisions Private Limited, a company he co-promoted, specializing in store design applications and interior solutions for B2B trade fairs. Over 15–17 years, he led the company with expertise in 3D modeling, design execution, and fabrication, bringing creative concepts to life for diverse industries.
As the proprietor of Crest Associates, Somaiah extended his entrepreneurial spirit to trade fair store design and fabrication, assisting clients from initial design to project execution. His deep understanding of sales and extensive experience in B2B exhibitions have made him a trusted advisor in the industry. Now, as a member of the advisory board for KAIG and Director at SBI Housing Society, Somaiah leverages his leadership skills to drive innovation and growth. A multi-talented individual, he also brings his disciplined spirit as a hockey enthusiast into his professional and personal life, cementing him as a proper leader ready to take on any challenges.

Mrs. Prathibha T.R

Asst. Prof., E.C Engineering

Prathibha is a dynamic professional with a robust technical background and nearly a decade of experience as an assistant professor across multiple engineering colleges. Her passion for education and dedication to shaping future-ready individuals led her to co-found QSkills, a skill development program aimed at equipping students with essential life skills. Her leadership at QSkills reflects her unwavering commitment to empowering young minds and enhancing educational outcomes.
Currently pursuing her PhD after completing her engineering Masters, Prathibha seamlessly bridges academia and professional excellence. She currently serves as the Sales Head for Utopiaa and is a board member and Head of Department at SBI “Smart Bangalore Infrastructure”. Her multifaceted roles highlight her exceptional organisational expertise and drive to innovate, making her a key leader in every endeavour she undertakes.

Mr. Suguna K A

Operations Manager, Design & Interiors

Armed with over a decade of experience in the Real Estate domain, Mr. Arjun had gained enough exposure in the sector which allowed him to loosen it up to co-found his passionate venture of creative interior designing which had immense potential to explore, as it lacked innovative design creation. This eventually culminated in co-founding Design Studio in 2009, which has made long strides in a short while creating niche ideas with sought after projects.
